He was childhood "must-viewing" for so many back in the day. I must admit I didn't watch "Dennis" as much as I did shows like "Leave It to Beaver" but I did like Jay North and he seemed like a very nice person. It's hard to hear of the abuse he went through as a child actor (and I've heard so many went through) with his aunt being particularly abusive to him. So I'm glad he did so much better in his life after "Dennis" and lived a happy life. Godspeed to you, Jay.

I feel terrible about this. I always felt bad that his career never went anywhere after Dennis the Menace. Very sad. RIP

I was a Dennis the Menace watcher in my youth. It was a fun show. RIP Jay.
