Yellowjackets (TV show)

Anyone watching this? Christina Ricci still looks like a teenager… Generally it reminds me of ‘The Wilds’ except with a sports slant.

Just finished binging it, both seasons in two days.


10/10, absolutely loved it.

Just got the first series on dvd, so looking forwards to it.

I loved it as well! Hope they leave it there and don’t add another season.

They renewed it for a third season. Most likely coming later this year. And also there's talks about a bonus episode, which, if it's coming, will probably delay the next season a bit. I'll update the thread as we go.


PS: My wife and I got ourselves Yellowjackets hoodies and we wear them on every flight. The looks we get are priceless.

Anyone watching season 3? I always manage to pick some niche (or unpopular?) thing to watch that no one else is watching. But this is still cool, even season 3, though I still prefer the parts about the younger characters over the older ones. Strangely, though, I do like the older Shauna, which isn’t like me.

Bingeing it now, am well into season 2 and catching up fast. Won't really read much of this thread till I'm caught up, just in case there is a spoiler-ish post here. Definitely a compelling watch, though!

I’m probably being an idiot, but the reference to ‘Gone Girl shit’ in episode 1 is baffling me. Surely the Or am I just seeing film references where there aren’t any?

I guess I missed that reference, but yeah, the teenage timeline is about 25 years ago and that novel was published in 2012.

So, a continuity error. They happen...

This is in season 3, episode 1, about halfway through. I’m rewatching as I didn’t focus the last time around. Keep thinking it’s just one of those things that didn’t mean anything prior to the novel being published. I need to get off my arse and search my media databases for this prior to 2012. Maybe tomorrow. It could just be ‘girl, gone’, or something.
