1979 is another song that I have nominated before and didn't win with. Maybe I should just nominate all the songs I've nominated before?
The Donnas - Who Invited You - I love this song. I love this band and this is probably my favourite as well as being the first song of this I heard. It's a good video too. I'venominated this before too, so I'm sure it won't do that well.
Tower of Power - What is Hip? -
Got to Get Funky! But to answer their question, this. This is hip.
Culture Beat - Mr Vain - I listen to this song quite a lot over the last couple of years, so this will do well with me.
Cage the Elephant - Ain't No Rest for the Wicked - Slide guitar, hello. I really like that I'll be surprised if that's my third on my list and please because it means there'll be something I like even more.
MGMT - Little Dark Age - This is quite good but I did feel it went on a bit too long. That said I still enjoyed it beyond that point.
Cypress Hill - Hand on the Pump - Cypress Hill is a bit like Eminem to me, in as much as they all basically sound the same, but there's the ones I know and the ones I don't, the ones I like and the ones I don't and I can't really tell you why there's a difference.
Judas Priest - Beyond the Realms of Death - This was OK, it was nice to hear something heavy but Priest are a band that really did much for me beyond their very best work.
PJ Harvey - Written On The Forehead (Alternate) - I've always wanted to really like PJ Harvey, but I never really have bar a couple of songs. This is okay, but okay is where it ends.
Stevie Nicks - Stop Draggin' My Heart Around - Another artist I've never really gotten.
Misfits - Skulls - This was a ok but, yet again, not really doing anything for me.
Flatland Cavalry - February Snow - I mean, there's country music a lot worse than this so I guess I have to count my blessings. I could have done without the violin though.
