Gifted an elephant

Imagine if you were gifted an elephant and could not sell it or give it away to a zoo.

What would you do with it?

I think I'd try to find a reserve that would take it.

I wouldn't try to profit from it, but on a selfish note - the sooner I was rid of it, the better (and I think that would go for anyone who would have no physical place for such a huge animal or be able to afford to keep it fed, comfortable & safe).

i would do the same, i would rescue it and give it to a elephant sanctuary with its habitat

The thought of an elephant being “gifted” makes me feel sick.

Same. I’m sure I’m being a bit dramatic/a killjoy etc, but they are an endangered species, and it’s just so sad and absurd.

I hear elephant trunk is a rare delicacy.



But if it is an endangered species... ...only fans.

I'd stare in awe at it's poo
