speaking of imdb i think a fun hall could be one where you can nominate whatever you want so long as it has under like a 6 on imdb. highlight some literally underrated films.

yeah, getting peoples nostalgia picks would be cool. my equivalent would be 3 Ninjas lol.

That sounds great. There are quite a few films I like that are under a 6. You should host it and call it’s Ueno’s Underrated Hall (or something like that).

I did the 80s Teen Film one.

the only name i thought up was The Hall of Gems lol. yeah i think we could get a lot of variety from it. peoples old childhood favs, fun b-movies, weird misfires from directors we love, art films people just didn't ""get"" etc.

The 80s Teen was hosted by myself, CR and Bill and Ted.

As an aside, I had an idea for a Hall where everyone has to act condescending and insulting towards each other (all in good fun, ofc), but I'm pretty sure that would break this forum's rules.

That’s hilarious. I would be down for that. If everyone knows that everyone is jokingly insulting each other, it might be within the rules.

I'll probably let some other users post some specialty Halls before I consider starting another one though.

Inspired by this thread, I watched Manos for the first time (proper, I'd seen it through MST3K before). I actually liked it? No other movie moves like this.

Manos isn't great, but it certainly doesn't deserve the notorious reputation it has online as being one of the worst things ever made.

Maybe we should do a Hall of Niceness, where everyone goes out of their way to be super complimentary and say nice things about the other members during their reviews.

For example:

"I didn't care for this film, but I do really like SpelingError. That guy's awesome"
"This movie was almost as cool as Citizen Rules. He is super cool."
"This movie is almost as much fun as MovieGal. She's great."
"I loved this film, almost as much as I love Siddon. He rocks!"
"The performances weren't great, but you know who is great? Ueno. She's so cool."
"The lead actor in this film is so handsome, but he is not as handsome as Allaby. I love that guy!"
