Whoa whoa whoa, don't lump me in with those wackos who think depicting sex onscreen is taboo. That's not even close to what I was trying to say. All I argued is why rape depicted in a romanticized manner makes me uncomfortable. I haven't advocated any censorship or claimed that everyone who enjoy those movies are sick. But personally, I don't seek them out. I have a problem with hentai at times as well, since there's quite a bit of it out there which delve too much into rape fantasy.
Japanese/Asian movie where a wife is raped on the lawn in the rain.

Wait, you watch hentai? Pervert.

I am still considering the possibility that the OP has misremembered. Maybe there wasn't a rape, maybe the rapist was a different character from the "good guy". The OP remembers the wife waiting for the rapist in a shed. Maybe the wife was going to kill the rapist.
Who knows? None of us, unless we find this movie and see it. And then you can all show me that I am wrong, and it was just a pornographic exploitation film with no redeeming qualities.

One of the things that is bothering me about this one is that although in the original query the OP insisted this was a Japanese or other Asian film, in another post the OP says that the wife was "white" and the rapist was "brown". It would be very unusual for a Japanese film to cast a "white" actor and a "brown" actor in major roles. Also, the OP doesn't remember that the film was in a foreign language. I am suspecting maybe it was NOT Japanese or other Asian?
Yeah, people don't like to believe they could be misremembering a lot (and people are hesitant to "accuse" them of misremembering for similar reasons), but it happens a ton, so I dunno.

On the other hand, I certainly could be wrong, and maybe the OP's movie was an exploitation film. But I, and all of the rest of you, don't know without seeing it.

I apologize to everyone if this thread has offended anyone. This is like a dam song that is stuck in my head. Hence, why I created this thread.

So it could still be Forrest Gump after all?
The version of Forest Gump I watched didn't have a man forcefully inserting his private part into the woman's mouth.

Yeah, I find few things more sickening than "romanticized rape" movies, which is why the huge drooling fanbase over Fifty Shades Of Grey is so depressing to me.
We don't know what the "message" of this movie is. Maybe it had a good message and expressed it well.
As far as I know there's been lots of studies made about sexual fantasies and rape fantasies are rather common among women.

I don't know what country you are in. In the USA we have some unusual "racial" terms. We use the word "white" to refer to people of European ancestry. We use the word "black" to refer to people whose ancestry is from Sub-Saharan Africa. We use the word "red" to refer to people who are from the indigenous cultures of the Americas. We use the word "yellow" to refer to people who are from Central or East Asia.
Some folks just leave it there. Others use the word "brown" to refer to pretty much everyone else.
Look, these are bad words and we need to stop using them. But in the meantime, I am struggling to understand how you can say an actress was both "white" and also Asian.
Obviously, both of these ('white", "Asian") are very vague words. Asia is a HUGE continent, with many diverse ethnic groups. Originally, you said you thought the movie was Japanese. So I imagined that all of the actors, at least the main ones, must look like Japanese people. And of course there are other ethnic groups that look like Japanese, such as the Koreans and the Chinese. But now you are saying the leading lady was a "white Asian". I don't know what that is. What part of Asia did it look like she came from. If not East Asia, then maybe Southern Asia? Southwest Asia? Where?
I am guessing the film was probably made in the region of the world where the people look like the actors in this movie.
It was definitely an Asian (Japanese,Korean, Thai, etc.) movie. I mentioned the wife was white and the rapist was brown (as probably Thai?) to provide details. Without doubt, they were Asians. I never said I can't remember if it was a foreign film, but that I couldn't remember if it has subtitles.

in casual circumstances, especially that's very showed in old movie, male usually looked tanned(bit brown) and female is pale white.
it's not that vague, not in asian countries
this must be old and boring remark already, but ppl should keep themselves away from always being triggered

What @resopamenic said.
The reason I mentioned Naomi Tani first was that she was famous for her pale white skin. She kept it that way, and avoided sun for years just so that the marks of the ropes are plainly visible. She did it for her fans.

So, with all due respect, I'm just trying to describe the details as clearly as possible. The fact that @resopamenic understood what I said means that I got my message across.
i think he/she just mean by the context physical trait among asian~japan itself without any harm intention use of words like you had exaggerated here.

Okay, so the leading lady looked like she was Japanese or otherwise East Asian.
In USA, the custom is to call anyone who looks Japanese or other East Asian "yellow", no matter how fair their skin is. We only say "white" for people of European descent, no matter what their skin color.
We actually in USA had court cases about this in the early 20th century, to try to decide who was "white" and who was "yellow".
Yes, these are bad words, and we need to stop using them. But the OP confused me by their non-American use of the word "white".

I'm not and I don't honestly understand what that has to do with what I said
What may be bad in your country, may not be bad in other countries. For example the "peace" sign in America is actually an insult in countries like Australia.

You said some women fantasize about being raped. No woman would say that.
