I once wrote a letter to three people in the NFL, and they all sent autographed pictures of themselves with stock answers and appreciation. I thought they were awesome, but now I can only find one, and the player is from a team I hate. Not sure of the logic there. But at least my birth place is in the same county as an excellent safety who's since retired.
