This might just do nobody any good.
Bryan Fuller's turn.
Oh, no...

*makes popcorn*

Wait, Fuller or Singer?

This might just do nobody any good.
There’s a Usual Suspects joke somewhere here...

You can't win an argument just by being right!
Might be ryan murphy' need to get eq

I almost got banned once because of people making light of a child being molested.

Not the time nor the place to be joking around - but just my thoughts - not going to comment other than that.

Allegedly.

With no evidence.

A 14 year-old.

Barely molested.

It would be completely different if there was evidence, it was recent, it was a more serious molestation, and he had been younger.

I find it hard to believe that a fourteen-year-old being swooped up, carried to a bed, and laid down on top of briefly would cause serious trauma that lasted 30 years. It would have been a different story if there was evidence and he had been 6.

Also, why was this fourteen-year-old alone at the end of a party at Kevin Spacey's home? Who was his chaperone? Why didn't he leave with everyone else?

This whole scenario reminds me of what happened to Paul Reubens. His career was ruined because he was accused of having child porn. It turned out to be an erotic art collection that he hadn't even seen himself because he hires people to buy it for him, and it was young adults of questionable age, maybe they were 18 and looked 16, but it's not like he had porn of 12 year-olds. But even after the matter was cleared up and the charges were dropped, many people still just thought he was a pedophile. It ruined his image and his reputation.

As far as we know, Kevin Spacey could be completely innocent. I don't know about his reputation otherwise, and the comments to the effect that it may not be an isolated incident.

This also reminds me of the Bill Cosby fiasco. Why would people wait so long to bring forward allegations if they were so serious?

Actually I am talking about Michael Jackson and a post I commented on long ago.

So your comment about making light of a child being molested in no way shape or form was referring to the Kevin Spacey issue and people in this thread making light of it?

Nice try

Ah I see, so it was completely unrelated. My mistake. Why'd you post it? Just curious.

Edit: I mean, why'd you post it here.

Why would people wait so long to bring forward allegations if they were so serious?
You make a good point & it’s brave of you to post it here when the taste of blood is in the mouths of several.

I don’t have it at hand but someone wrote to the New York Times saying that if some of these victims had come forward earlier, perhaps some of this abuse could have been avoided. The man who wrote the letter made a valid point, IMO.

Oh for goodness sake. No words.

He's like the fourteenth person that has said it. There's a multitude of reasons people often don't come forward until years later; fear, shame, thinking people won't believe you which is obviously the case when you read this thread despite Spacey not denying it, the suspicious nature of him coming out and several other accusations coming forward people are still largely siding with Spacey.

I mean he was a 14 year old kid and over the years Spacey just got more and more powerful, this recent movement is encouraging people to come out about past abuses in Hollywood and maybe he felt it was safe to do so now with everything going on.
