Hi birdy...can you tell me a little about this one? I've been eyeing it to rent, but I haven't heard anyone talk about it. I've rented a few to many movies I wish I hadn't this past year. Thanks.

The Alamo ***

2004. Director: John Lee Hancock. Starring: Dennis Quaid, Billy Bob Thornton, Jason Patric, Patrick Wilson, and Emilio Echevarría.
"This version of The Alamo is a pretty damn good flick. Serious, beautiful, and realistic, this movie should please even the most stoic lover of film."

That's good to know. They've been promoting the heck out of it. Bruce Willis and Matthew Perry are appearing in alot of talk shows together. I was wondering if that was a bad sign.

I Watch final destination 1 and 2 today, they are good but not my Favourites but are very good movies.

City Lights (1931) ~ Funny, sweet and brilliant. My son (9yrs old) watched this with me...and laughed and giggled during alot of the scenes...the robbery scene and the boxing scene in particular. I cried at the end. We both loved it.

Cheaper by the Dozen (2003) ~ Fun family movie for all ages. Probably on the same scale as Steve's Parenthood.
