Darth Vader (Star Wars) Vader is a Dr Doom ripoff, and represents Doom better than any FF movie

My favourite Lex Luthor – I liked what Kevin Spacey did as well, as I think he was part of the homage to the first four films. Haven't seen Jesse Eisenberg yet.

So which Dr Doom in the films did you prefer?

Gene Hackman was awesome, but he could play a more sinister Luther great too.

None. Truly the only thing that has come close to what Doctor Doom is like in the well written comic books is Darth Vader. I wish it were different, hes my favorite comic villain.

It's a shame when franchises like that can't get going. Who would have thought Spider-Man would have been through two reboots in this space of time?

As far as preferences for Dr. Doom, I have none; neither was particularly good.

That's a good one – I should check out Philip Madoc playing him in the TV adaptation.

As far as Buffalo Bill goes, I'd like to mention Dr. Hannibal "the Cannibal" Lecter as played by Anthony Hopkins in the same movie.

Oooo Magua was good! One of my fav performances, but Id put it with Geoffrey Rush Cassanova Frankenstein honorable mention category

Actually if they ever nailed the Doctor Doom character correctly, he'd be one of the greatest screen villains of all time, no exaggeration, and Ill tell you why.

Doctor Doom goes beyond megalomania, but whats the absurdity is he can back it up. He has a peronality that is incredibly charasmatic and magnetic. Leads a country so acts presidential. Knows the dark arts of magic, and the highest levels of technology. Went into hell itself and took his Mom from the Devil then left.

Now which Dr Doom in film comes close to that?

Neither.

Mr. Blue (The Taking of Pelham One Two Three; the Robert Shaw version, not the John Travolta version)

That does sound pretty good. It reminds me of that film with Charles Middleton playing the Devil, and when someone mentions Al Capone he gives a start and says "He's not coming here!?"
