Ettore Scola e morto

The great Italian director of the famous Down and Dirty (1976), A Special Day (1977), We All Loved Each Other So Much (1974), La Terrazza (1980), Le Bal (1983), etc. is dead at 84.


Very bad news I'm very sad, I love his films. He was one of the most important Italian director from the seventies.


BTW, Franco Citti, one of the favorite actor of Pasolini (Accattone, Oedipe Rex, Mamma Roma, etc.) is dead on the 14th January

Haven't seen that many of his films but what I've seen are enough to know he was a major filmmaker. My fave is We All Loved Each Other So Much, but I also liked The Family, That Night in Varennes, Le Bal, A Special Day and the multi-part Viva Italia!.
