Any of Harmony Korine's movies are disturbing but awesome. Gummo is wicked cool, have you seen Julien Donkey Boy? he also wrote kids.

i think horror movies have some of the most disturbing images in them.

Event Horizon: the whole movie

Kill Bill: opening scene, bullet to the skull

Toxic Avenger: the hamburger meat for brains scene

Rob Zombie's House of a Thousand Corpses was a little disturbing.

I want to see this movie so bad but i can't find it ANYWHERE in my city. I ask just about everyone i meet (literally) if they have seen it, or own it, where i can find it...no one has seen it. My only option is to go to another city to find it and buy it. Since i forbid myself from buying a credit card i can't buy it online.

Kids was great and Bully (same director) I love these kinds of movies that are just very intense and bizarre.

A lot of people i know found that movie disturbing. I liked it, but i would probably like anything Rob Zombie directs. I didn't find it disturbing.

I think anyone who says House of a Thousand Corpses is not disturbing, is either lying to appear cool, or a little disturbed themselves.

really though, the reason i didn't find it disturbing is because i can differentiate between real and make belief, and that stops me from being disturbed or scared. There are movies I find disturbing, the ones that are either true stories of something bad that happened (Gacy) or a story that isen't too farfetched and i could see happening (A Clockwork Orange). Also a movie about the unknown that leaves me hanging (The Blair Witch Project), i find disturbing. My mind ponders what could have happened, giving me nightmares.

Haha. I didn't necessarily mean you were disturbed. I am just saying that people who think that House of a Thousand Corpses is not a little disturbing are probably disturbed themselves. It sounds like you can see the difference between reality and fiction, but my philosophy is that anything is possible. What if someone actually did do all the stuff that that family did (except for the stuff at the end which was too far out)? That would be disturbing.

I think the japanese has some unike talents in the gore and horror section, therefore I find films like Versus and Audition really disturbing.
But one movie who really shocked me lately is Maria full of grace. How is it even possible to do such things!!

Another movie i find disturbing is the Russian movie, Citizen X. Its about this sexually perverted man who can only get off by killing young women and m*st*rb*ting next to their corpse.
