Rate The Last Movie You Saw
Intruder (1989)

A killer stalks overnight workers of a supermarket. The story had me with high hopes but unfortunately is was a disappointment. Besides some good kills, it's pretty worthless.

Wayne's World (1992)
I dunno, I was expecting it to be funny, but it... wasn't? Still, I liked the character Wayne, and Rob Lowe, and the long-haired blond set guys, and... it was worth watching for Cassandra (played by Tia Carerre). Stunning girl, and a good singer too!

Confusion: Is this Rate The Last Movie You Saw or Female Beauty We Appreciate?

It has sufficient legitimately funny moments to enjoy yourself if you have nothing else to do or watch. It was about as I expected, with most of the movie being pretty dumb driven by a dumb plotline. It was based on a true story, but the fictionalization elements take me out of it.

There's Something About Mary (1998)
There were a lot of gross-out moments in this which I didn't like. I don't think I laughed at anything.
It also made me terrified of starting to date again since this film shows how people can easily pretend to be what they think you want instead of showing you who they really are. On the plus side, Cameron Diaz is beautiful and her character in this film is lovely.

6/10.
Some laugh out loud moments. The music was good.
I don't quite understand the point of Traci Lord's character, and her acting was not good.

Sorry to Bother You (2018)
This was certainly entertaining, despite the trailer not really pulling me in originally. Lakeith Stanfield plays the same kind of character he is in Atlanta, and I'm not sure how his future as an actor will look. Tessa Thompson continues to dazzle though. I wish I could rate this higher because it was definitely worth watching, but I'm still not sure if I understand the intent. It has a good story with satirical elements, but the final act was pure satire. I kept wanting to compare it to Idiocracy as a result, and I don't think it was quite as good as that one.

HOSTILES (2017)

New Mexico, 1892, Captain Joseph Blocker is given the task to escort a dying Cheyenne war chief, Yellow Hawk, and four members of his family back to their tribal lands in Montana where he could spend his last days. The journey starts with the Captain discontent, hate and anger over escorting someone he fought against for 30 years. Along the journey he fond empathy and compassion on understanding that what separated them was exactly what brought them together: the lost.
I don't understand this movie, I do, but I don't . They basically did something that is not really correct in my opinion, that is using 21st century politics, perspectives, concepts into a late 19th century event. I don't mean you can't judge those events using your present opinion, but you shouldn't depict those mans and womens using today's ideas.
They made a lot of efforts situating this movie in the late 19th century. The problem is: effort. Nothing seems alive, the clothes, the beards, the hair cuts, the houses, the villages, everything looks like it was made recently. Excluding most of the natives and Christian Bale the acting seemed almost theatrical is some situations, not exactly because of the absence of background music.
I love the script, I like the cinematography, I like certain acting moments, but I also dislike many other things.
