I really don't see the point in a spin-off (outside of the studio making money). They were already beginning to stretch themselves thin at the end of John Wick 3, so adding on more to the universe...

Arnie in Predator (1987). He goes into a special ops mission for the military thinking it would be a simple raid where they kill the bad guys and save the hostages, but it ends up being so much more....
