jrs- yeah the funny thing about my style I just bs my way through it. It's not like I have any experience with this stuff, my dad won't let a guy near me even if it was with a 20 foot pole. Not that this is bs, but talking about stuff I really know nothing about is my talent. There was this one time a few years ago when I was part of a group project and they assigned me the task of presenting the thing. I had only read my part of the project, but yet we got an A+ and i still had the best presentation, longest as well.

Well I am only 15 (and half in exactly two days), but being the daughter of a minister, not to mention his only daughter, oh and the oldest. The odds are set againts me. Until I am a legal adult (and most likely until I am out of my parents house) I will not be able to fraternize with the opposite sex in an over-friendly manner. It took me weeks upon weeks to get him to agree to me going to a boy-girl party. Get the picture?

If they don't (and they always don't) then I automatically forget whatever feelings I was harboring for them. It's like an automatic sorter. But still it's pretty bad, one day I am sure I'll thank them.

they're put on hold because its a scientific fact that the soothing hold music will calm anyone in a crisis. Can you imagine having to talk to a ranting frantic lunatic? No, so the only obvious thing to do is subject the caller to a little barry manilow. Its called de-escalating the situation.

The girl I babysat tonight had her bike stolen at soccer practice and the coach called the cops and a helicopter! So three police cars came along with a helicopter, over a stolen bike. It was in a seedy area of town though and I guess the purported thieves were gang members. Anyway I was waiting for her to come home and she came home like 10 minutes late and she burst through the door sobbing then was all excited because she got interviewd by three cops :rolleyes: Such a pre-teen.
