Looks like the quietness of SC is over...

Man you people are f*cking crazy! Some of those numbers are insane. On my current pace it would take me a couple of years to break into the top 50 and that's only if everyone else stopped posting

It's not about the quantity of my posts. It's about the quality.

I think in my first five years I had something like 500 posts. The vast majority of my posts have come from the last two and a half years. I was gone for a little over a year though so I've really only been here 6 1/2 years.

It's the stupid commentary threads.

Each post is like...4 maybe 5 words.

"The logo has appear"

"The first credit has appeared"

"The first image has appeared"

"it's a woman"

"she opens the door"

"Ha, that was funny"

I'd blame the game threads more than the commentaries personally.

hey now, coming from one who's done commentaries & not sniffing the Top 50. the commentaries i've noticed have been more than just that, most of them are pretty fun if you're involved

I like the game threads. They're great to take a short break from the monotony of the workday.

Besides, why do we have to "blame" anything? What's wrong with having high post counts? Especially when it's by way of a group of friends watching a film together, I honestly don't know why people keep complaining about the commentaries. I hope the commentaries never end.

I feel like both have been overdone a bit.

I'm not blaming the commentaries. In fact, I enjoy reading them when it's a movie that I'm interested in. (I wish you guys would do less horror movies.)

I just don't think that they add the to quality of the posts here.

But if you guys are having fun doing commentaries, you should definitely continue doing them.

You don't think Theo's "boobies" post in the Halloween commentary today was quality?!?!?!
