Stop posting lists MoFos! It will ruin the surprise!
Yeah, I don't think posting mine will ruin anything. It's not like Charlie's Angels (or most of my other choices) is going to make the list.

That was that. 41 members sent in their list. More to follow later, including pre-countdown poll threads.

I have this feeling that Mulholland Drive is gonna win. By a lot.
Nah. I would say a LOTR movie, but the three choices might cancel each other out. Mulholland Dr will be up there but I have a horrible feeling The Dark Knight is gonna win it.

We've gone on holiday by mistake
I reckon one of the Resident Evil movies will take it.

Or Terminator 3.
Are you smoking ****?

It's a dead heat between Matrix Revolutions, Transformers 2 and 3, Battfield Earth, Gigli and Catwoman.

Deciding in which order to place them in my top 6 was probably the hardest task that I have undertaken in my 28 years.

If I was able to PM this'd be my top 25.

1) Dancer in the Dark
2) Moulin Rouge!
3) Margaret
4) Martha Marcy May Marlene
5) In the Mood for Love
6) Yi Yi
7) Mullohand Dr
8) Lost in Translation
9) Mary & Max
10) There Will Be Blood
11) Y tu mamá también
12) A.I.
13) Dogville
14) Mean Girls
15) Children of Men
16) Ghost World
17) Finding Nemo
18) Gosford Park
19) In The Bedroom
20) Shaun of the Dead
21) School of Rock
22) Sky High
23) L.I.E.
24) Battle Royale
25) Looking for Alibrandi

If we are talking about the 10 most accomplished films that seek to expand the medium instead of using it then I can most objectively pen it down to:

Cache Michael Hanake 2005
Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind Michel Gondry, 2004
Millennium Actress Satoshi Kon, 2001
Mulholland Drive David Lynch, 2001
On The Occasion of Remembering The Turning Gate Hong Sang Soo, 2002
Russian Ark Aleksandr Sokurov, 2002
Synecdoche, New York Charlie Kaufman, 2008
Werckmeister Harmonies Bela Tarr, 2000
Yi Yi Edward Yang, 2000
You, The Living Roy Anderson, 2007

But of course its also about my favourites and while a couple of the above films did not make the list, others like Save The Green Planet, Black Dynamite, Red Cliff, Pan's Labyrinth, Inglorious Basterds, Kung Fu Hustle and Tucker & Dale VS Evil were eventually included because they left such a big impression on me.

One movie that I regretted not including into the final list was Max Manus, and that was only because I watched it after submitting the list.

So... here's the final list if anybody's curious:
  1. Mulholland Drive
  2. Spirited Away
  3. Talk To Her
  4. Lord Of The Rings: Fellowship Of The Ring
  5. Werckmeister Harmonies
  6. Synecdoche, New York
  7. Inglorious Basterds
  8. Memories Of Murder
  9. Pan's Labyrinth
  10. The Skin I Live In
  11. Save The Green Planet
  12. Red Cliff
  13. Gladiator
  14. City Of God
  15. Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... And Spring
  16. Downfall
  17. Kung Fu Hustle
  18. Goodbye Dragon Inn
  19. Eternal Sunshine On The Spotless Mind
  20. Dancer In The Dark
  21. Wall-E
  22. Yi Yi
  23. Cache
  24. Black Dynamite
  25. Tucker & Dale Vs Evil

I saw Inland Empire a few days ago and now I'm kicking myself for not including it. Would've made my top five.
