I remember it like yesterday the guy at gamestop refusing to sell me GTA3 so I got Ico - not a bad trade off. A downloadable PS2 emulator would kick major ass.

To B-card, it's a retail game on one disc - I think if you actually buy the game you get a code to download the GoW3 demo (I rented it). Killzone 2 is quite a jump from mouse and keyboard, really slow aiming and if you put the sensitivity up it feels really strange.

Tell me about it,anyway I'll check at work if we have it or see if we can at least order it,thanks

Simply the best game I ever played since Modern Warfare.Actually a friend of mine started from the beginning I just finished it but I will play it again and as always in the Call of duty sense again there were strong references this time to Michael Bay's "The Rock" .This is how all FPS shooters should look like I am not saying its realistic but there is quite the adrenalin rush trough the whole game. And I am kind of getting used to the game pad although you have auto aim so it was kind of easy but still its a great game I will play it again and definitely buy it some time in the future I just want the price to drop

Sick of your 360 controller? Want it redesigned by those gaming mouse people and don't like wireless capability?

Say hello to the new Razer Onza!

If their mice are anything to go by this should be top notch, wireless or not, but I think they really need to turn their attention to the PS3 controller.

Been playing on PSN, I must say, I'm impressed. Even on wireless internet it all flows well. Never had Xbox live, so I can't compare, but the fact it's free is awesome.

I got Vagrant Story on PSN the other day (still waiting patiently for FF VIII some time in January, according to SCEE) and had forgotten how good it was. It's a Final Fantasy game in all but name seeing as it's by Square and is set in Ivalice. Graphics are a lot more dated than, say, FF VII and I think that's because they were pretty cutting edge 3D at the time.

They remind me a bit of Knight Lore and those other Ultimate isometric 3D platformers.

EDIT - Oh yeah, BBC iPlayer on the PS3 is excellent. Now I can catch up on stuff without having to watch things on a PC monitor.

Bought Football Manager 2010 today. As I didn't have a life before, how can I have less of a life now? I don't know either, but it's bound to happen.

The Bayonetta demo was fun but it's a bit too Devil May Cry for me. Same goes for Dante's Inferno.

I'm hunting my first platinum PS3 trophy with Dragon Age. Normally I couldn't care less about such things (finished Uncharted II and it told me that I'd only collected 30% of the buggers) but I'm enjoying the game so much that I'll give it a go.

Dante's Inferno is to God of War as Casino is to Goodfellas.

so true, however Dante's inferno kind of looks good but Bayonetta is a female version of Devil May cry

The Last Guardian isn't that far from release and that's gonna be a must-buy for me.
Damn youuuu PS3 owners!

Liked ICO & Colossus a lot. I want me some giant pet dragon-dog action too. *sulks*

They could twizzle their moustaches a bit more perhaps - or say 'Itsa me, Bowser' . But yeah, know what you mean - they just chunter away conspiratorially for a moment, looking like wizened wizards from a kung fu flick, to a degree.

I've opened up a lot of Venice now and it's only just starting to pale a little. Still heaps of fun tho, and much more varied than AC1 (no idea which game jrs was playing ). Thought the catacombs might be a little bit more tricksy than they are, but still got the last one to go. I find the 'Dan Brown' glyph 'puzzles' annoying & skill-less (so just look em up for the most part), but most everything else is free-flowing fun . I particularly like chasing mailmen and thieves for some reason. Can see it still being worth dropping into even after the story & side-missions are complete.

AC2 is one of those rare sequels where the devs have listened to the gripes about the first game and largely put them right.

I'm waiting now for Mass Effect 2 next week and found out about the character import function with the first game. Then I remembered that I'd only finished the PC version so cranked up the 360 once again (and I'd long since deleted my saves from that) yesterday.

I'd forgotten just how big the game is.

Ug. I've got something of a love/hate relationship with level-up stuff. That import thing sounds like a good system... if you keep your save files...

I've found myself quite happily going along with the AC2 collectibles etc, which kinda surprised me. (I somehow tricked two mates into doing the body-building in GTA San Andreas when we started it together - that adverse to the more laborious end of level-upping ). I guess it's just still fun to swing around the cities for the most part, and to see the villa community transform.

Ain't gonna ferret out all the feathers i shouldn't think, especially as it seems all they unlock is a cape (EDIT: altho 50 for the big ass hammer could be worth it). Ultimately, the levelled-up armaments mean fights are no challenge now, against smaller gatherings, so I'm thinking I might ponce around with nothing but the metal glove on to extend the playtime later - see how far i get just nicking weapons off opponents

That's if i get tired of rugby tackling messengers on rooves that is

EDIT: Oo, DLC coming too apparently. Nice, didn't realise that.

The People's Republic of Clogher
Dunno whether you keep your old level or not but the story is supposed to change depending on some of the choices you made in Mass Effect 1. If you've not got a save file then you fill out some sort of questionnaire before starting.

1. Do you consider yourself a practical person?
2. Do you find blue-skinned women attractive?
3. Do you, after 30 hours of plodding through the acres of exposition, actually know what a mass effect is?

That kinda thing, I venture.

Ah ok. That's pretty natty too. Even more replay value if you wants it - start from scratch, or with your pre-set path etc. That's if you'll even want to play it after replaying the first
