I hope everything works out on our vacation to Alaska in two weeks. We'll have a rental vehicle to drive around some remote areas. We're also flying on a float plane to a lake in Denali National Park. We're staying five nights in Anchorage, one in Denali, and five in Fairbanks, with plans to try to go north of the Arctic Circle. The time we'll be there, the sun's supposed to rise at 4 AM and set at 10:30 PM. That's OK with me because that means it'll be dark for about twice as long as I usually sleep.
