Legit, I've never seen or read The Great Gatsby.

Spoiler alert for a near-100 year old book

Don't worry, the narrator gives it away in the first few pages anyway

And the movie sucks, so you aren't missing out.

I quite liked Luhrman's take on it, actually. The 1973 version was awful though. Damn thing looks like a toothpaste commercial.

The new one looks like a two hour heineken commercial.

I liked it a lot too. It was my first time seeing anything Gatsby and I never read the book, that could make a difference.

The Heineken commercial comment made me laugh MM. Perfect comeback.

I'd much rather watch a two hour Heineken commercial starring Leonardo DiCaprio than be blinded by glaring whites and pastels.

The new Gatsby wasn't bad. It's far from anything great though.

After hearing the new Gatsby has a lot of rap in it, I can only imagine Leo dancing to dorkrap.
