All in all DOTD is an enjoyable Saturday night movie. Not a surefire Oscar winner, but I liked it and think you will too.

No disrespect to Romero and the original zombie films, but I cannot see the dangers of slow moving zombies.

Dawn is a very good updating of the George Romero classic from 1978.

Gone is the embarassing gimp-gait of the zombies - these are track star zombies, and suddenly they're scary.

If more horror films followed the example laid out by 28 Days Later and Dawn of the Dead, there just might be hope for the waning horror industry.
