i've semi-avoided this movie for years not because i thought i wouldn't like it, but because i knew i'd have a hard time separating it from its reputation as the ultimate bro intellectual movie with the most obnoxious fans (also i knew the ending already).

And I have not seen a psychological drama go more in-depth than Fight Club, a movie that already had to compete with the terrifically terrifying Se7en.

One of the most fascinating films of 1999, Fight Club is a ferocious and groundbreaking piece of film making that, in the tradition of Tarantino, breaks all the rules of conventional movie making, drops red herrings during every reel, conveys some very disturbing messages, confuses, aggravates, and ...

It's not original anymore to like this film and cinephiles often roll their eyes when they hear this film mentioned for the millionth time, but I still think Fight Club is 100% pure awesomeness!

A simple curiosity on Tyler's part - he wants to get hit by another man as hard as possible - leads to Tyler and the Narrator forming "Fight Club" -- an underground men's club where men do nothing but fight each other.

The fighting proves popular with other local men and Tyler and the narrator start a secret Fight Club.

I may be overrating this a bit, and I haven’t talked particularly high about this, but I still think it’s a great movie.

It's dark, complex, highly entertaining, and demands that you truly [I]think[/I] about what is going on at every moment.

Then a club is formed, which the narrator and Tyler call 'Fight Club'.

If your looking for a highly original story , with great visuals : watch this movie.
