Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017)

Plot::Luke Skywalker reluctantly trains Rey, who is at threat of going to the Dark Side, while the rebellion outruns the First Order

The first Star Wars film I have seen that I thought was great instead of good. The cinema experience is the best experience. The characters were all very deep, making the lightsaber fights that more emotional. The nods to the original trilogy weren’t forced like they were in Rogue One.Kylo Ren’s character was brilliant, and so was Luke’s. The comedic relief was great. So many emotional edge-of-your-seat moments. The 2-and-a-half hour length didn’t put me off, I was never bored. Some of the imagery is very nice.

My only real gripe with the film was when the rebel ships were being shot down, yet when they cut back to them in a later scene it’s still the exact same number of ships, it really brought me out of the experience. The Asian lady made some very silly character decisions, but I guess that was a fault of her and not with the film.

WARNING: spoilers below
Yoda’s appearance was awesome, It made me audibly gasp in the theatre. I loved how he was done as a puppet, not CGI. Luke’s death felt more happy than sad, it was really nice.

I'm sure you're gonna have the multiple nerds on the internet saying extremely dumb theories, trying to prove the film is s*it for some pointless reason, yet that shouldn't put you off of this spectacle. See this film whenever you can, IMAXX screening is possible....

ALSO THE PORGS ARE SO F*CKING CUTE!! OMG!!!
