Story moves at really slow pace, at times even little too slow as there are moments that don't seem to progress anything.
Regardless of those issues, I still think this is an awfully effective horror film that manages to build up a unique atmosphere of dread and fear of things we might not understand.
It's definitely more good than bad, but a film like this should thrive on a constant sense of unease and this film doesn't quite provide that not because of any attempts at lightening the mood but because it drags out things like exposition and makes the tension inconsistent.
