A complete and utter success. One of the most pleasantly surprising films I've seen in quite a while. For me personally it's the film of the summer, and one of the films of the year so far..

Its actually that good you find yourself on the side of the Apes rather than the humans and gives the viewer a completely different depth and outlook to the Apes' Franchise Legacy.

Set in current times, Rise of the Planet of the Apes follows Caesar (Andy Serkis), a highly intelligent chimpanzee that starts an ape rebellion against humans.
