I thought it would look great with the animation style (I had no 2D option for my time schedule too) but I was sitting there distracted the entire time.
Although the film follows a conventional plot line, ending with Mile's climax in which he decides, after his father's speech, to change things around and go save the day, I think much of the film strayed too far from this conflict and tried to build other characters to a plot line that just ended in....
I simply think my recommendation for those heading into this film is that they should expect a fun and zany film, and not, perhaps, the best Spider-Man film ever brought to film.
