While giving up on life he manages to catch wind of a map that leads to a wishing star, which gives him the idea to wish for his 8 lives back.

Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas) is living his best swashbuckling life when he is the victim of an untimely accident.

This film though, man, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, completely changed what I thought about the Shrek franchises future and, more so, Puss in Boots future as a character.
