The ghost of sierra de cobre
This movie was shot in 1964 and was a pilot for TV. I saw it in Australia in the late sixties on tv. It is the scariest film ever shot. Does anyone know where I can find it? Any format will do! Please...

Because of the great performances (especially from Bogart) and because of the realistic environments, this film truly transports its viewers to the Sierra Madre Mountains and makes them part of the characters' quest for gold.
Traven's novel, goes through all kinds of complications - being an out of work American in Mexico, getting ripped off by another American, learning about gold from an knowledgeable old-timer, wanting to throw water in Bobby Blake's "ugly mug", worrying about your goods and having to take "look sees"....
Though I naturally need to revisit a few of the other contenders to make sure, I would probably still cite The Treasure of the Sierra Madre as my favourite Bogart film, my favourite Huston film, and basically a second-tier favourite.
