Hayek's character only appears in flashbacks, dreams and a good portion of the film is based on the conflict of this character.

Way too cluttered and confusing to be enjoyable. Even though there were some truly exciting shoot-them-up fight scenes, Robert Rodriguez tried way too hard to make a convincing plot..
