The plot simply follows an officer named Stone (played by Rutger Hauer) as he trails a killer monstrosity that likes to munch on peoples hearts.

Paired up with a new partner, (Alastair Duncan), Stone continues his hunt for the killer while dealing with the feelings he has for his partner's wife (Kim Cattrall), with whom he was having an affair.

They shoot the guy, they electrocute the guy, he still pins Main Guy, but somehow Main Guy just casually pushes him off and straight Dragonball PUNCHES HIM through his chest and rips out his heart...
