IMO the funniest Marvel film to date, really impressed with Dave Bautista's performance (not acting but his comic timing)

And the character of Groot is given several of the film's best character moments that really make us take him to our hearts; the moment he grows and hands a flower to a young girl, the moment he releases luminescent blossoms to light the darkness or his great moment of heroism at the film's conclusi....

As the film progresses we learn more about the orb, and more about its importance to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

James Gunn then threw another spanner in the works by wanting the new fight to be filmed in one continuous shot which took Pratt and Bautista 22 takes to get right.
