Yeah, well why not punt him into the sun, or whatever it is studio execs do to Jason without regard for Jason fans yet keep us happy while we're all waiting for Freddy vs Jason to be a viable thing.

Jason X, the 10th installment in the immortal Friday the 13th franchise does exactly that, taking Jason-fuking-Voorhees to fuking space, and it is as much dumb fun as you would expect.
