Later that year it was accepted into the 1984 New York Film Festival, and then shown at the Toronto Film Festival, where a deal was made with Circle Films to distribute the movie domestically.
The film then took an interesting turn into a suspenseful film that actually got me excited for what would happen next.
And before I even mention the movie, I gotta say how liberating it was to FINALLY dive head-long into the Coen brothers' compact compilation of quality movies here...
