Hitchhiker thriller?

Woman drives alone somewhere in the mountains. Her car breaks down (flat tire?) And a guy (hitchhiker?) helps her out. She hesitates to give him a lift, but is afraid to. Later on, she changes her mind and picks him up, but he's a creep.

This does describe quite a few films. There's a recent one called The Curve that matches this description.
