Was the Halo jump in Mission Impossible: Fallout real?

I read that it was done for real, but the whole scene looked like VFX and CGI to me. It was just too clean looking and too digital looking, if that makes sense.

But was it done for real, but maybe just looks that way, cinematography wise?

The electrical storm was CGI. Everything else real.

Oh okay thanks, cause after watching the behind the scene there it looks a lot more bright there. could that be why it looks like VFX in the actual movie, cause they darkened the scene and made it look more like sunset compared to the brightness in the behind the scenes?
