I'm not really sure about this. I thought the Lego Movie was awesome, and I loved the Lego Batman movie. Nothing in the trailers made me laugh at all, and it seems like a retread of the earlier part of the TV series but the characters just seem different. Is that supposed to be Jay talking about his mom collecting seashells? Why is Garmadon basically Batman? And they're all in school? It's weird. I know it's just a cash in movie for kids but there's enough cheap kids cartoons out there. Kids won't like it if it changes too much from the TV show, and adults won't like it if it's not funny. Fingers crossed the movie is better than the trailers suggest.
