I am not a huge fan of most of MacFarlane's projects. The only thing of his I really enjoyed was "Family Guy" - which is a shame.
I do think this has the potential to be funny in a laugh-a-minute, slapstick & don't take life to seriously sort of way, I am not sure why I find it so funny but I have seen the trailer multiple times in the cinema and I still find the scene with the gun and the bottles really funny and could imagine someone shouting "oh fo f**ks sake just die already!" at the bottles the way Murphy did in Robocop.
One good thing I will say about Seth is he understands comedy and he understands how to put it forward in one minute making you feel emotional and in another making you think "oh come on that's just wrong".
I am not trying not to go in with high expectations but I am looking forward it.
