Welcome to the human race...
The phrase "inspired by Shakespeare" doesn't mean that much to me, to be honest. Shakespeare is one of the most influential storytellers in human history. It stands to reason that his literary brilliance still stands up hundreds of years after his plays were originally written and performed.

Also, I've never heard of what's-his-face so I don't know (and don't care) about whether it's his best performance or not.

Welcome to the human race...
I almost responded, but can you tell me where your from first?
I looked up the film on IMDb and it appears to be an Indian movie. I think it's reasonable to assume this person is from India as well.

Welcome to the human race...
It would depend on which box office we're talking about. It may "rock and rule" a bunch of theatres in India, but outside of that...yeah.

Last Lear?

For me, that would be Kurosawa's Ran, which is my favorite telling of this particular tale. I doubt the above film will be even a 10th as good as Kurosawa's magnificent epic...
