Modest Mouse is the worst band in music history, anyone who disagrees is just wrong. Bad guitarist, bad bassist, bad drummer, bad vocalists, bad lyrics, bad melodies, there is nothing positive you can say about them, and if you do have something postitive to say, chances are I will dislike you as a person.

Metallica may be overrated, but they are still better than any extreme metal band I have ever heard.

Nirvana do not friggin sound like Pixies, and as opposed to the well regarded belief among Indie losers, Nirvana make better music as well.

Most Emo dosen't suck balls, but most Indie sure as hell does.

Johnny Thunders is NOT a very good guitarist, even if his punk rock influence should not be ignored.

Why this will hurt my prog cred greatly, I find Marillion to be incredibly dull, Steve Rothery is a pretty good guitarist though, even if he is a shameless Gilmour ripoff.

Everyone here loves Simplicity, nothing wrong with that, I just find Complexity to be more rewarding.

I like "God Only Knows" a lot but, other than that one track, Pet Sounds is a pretty godawful album.

Green Day are not "old school" and they are bad musicians with bad lyrics and bad melody.

There is no accounting for "Music Options", Hell I love Styx, Journey, Greenday, Nicklecreek, Garth Brooks, and even - The Time. Go figure. Oh, Modest Mouse rules, not sure what they rule, but they do dammit!!!!

There is this roommate of a friend of mine whom is obsessed with dinosaurs and is dating a girl who plays with toys. This makes me question his musical taste even if I like some of the same bands he does.

Nirvana DOES sound like the pixies, and they also sound like Sonic Youth and Cheap Trick and R.E.M. and John Lennon.

That said, they are terribly overrated, and their fans scare me.

Weird Al Yankovic is an underrated musical genius.

The Beatles are not the best band ever. I like the Who a lot better.

Good electronic music is a lot more forward thinking and creative than rock.

The British think their music scene has always been of a higher quality than the rest of Europe. The fact is the rest of Europe has produced cooler, better music than Britain.

The 80's was and is the best decade for music.

Italian disco was better than US disco.

The British indie rock/pop scene has been crap for the last twenty years.

Being into The Beatles shows a complete lack of imagination.

I reckon music is slightly overrated.

While the Ramones might have started punk with the Sex Pistols, they don't sound that punk to me.

AFI has and will always suck, no matter how good of a show they put on.

I hate it when musicians try to put a political message in their songs.

The Tea Party is one of the most underrated indie bands ever.

I'll listen to metalcore over any other type of metal.

I can't stand classic rock (i.e. Beatles, The Who, Janis Joplin, Hendrix) just not my style.

Rick Roll is a national treasure

People who only know one song by an artist shouldn't be allowed to say they're fans of said artist.

Anyone who wears a Ramones tee shirt without having ever listened to them should be beaten with their entire discography.

Some parts of the Beatles' White Album are absolutely terrible, and some of their songs verge on children's music.

That said, I still loved Let it Be, and consider it their best album.

Elvis should never have been considered the "King of Rock And Roll" because most of his music is country, rockabilly, or gospel.
