13 years ago this clip dropped from heaven, into my YouTube recommendations at around 3am, and it is still arguably one of my favorite things that has happened to me on the internet.


I'd never heard of the band. But I watched this entire performance like 900 times that night. While this music is already 100 percent my kind of jam, the fact that the video is filled with so many weird details hooked me for life.



Their album Black Monk Time still holds a place on my ultimate desert islands list, and will likely do so for all time.
