ALL that I remember on the plot: had two sisters one of them angry, and they loved one and the same guy. something happened and that has good became a bad(evil) girl. LIKE the guy still on prow(on nose ship) profile darling fashioned.

remembered something else that one of the sisters had a disfigured face. Film History!

I saw a TV movie with a disfigured girl who was set up by her scheming boyfriend to commit a robbery and she found out he was doing it with her sister behind his back. She was real pissed. She went to prison and they operated on her face and she became beautiful and unrecognizable when she got out. I can find it because I know the name of an actress in the supporting cast. But there is stuff in your description that makes me unclear if we are talking about the same movie. There wasn't a ship in it.

Who was blonde? The disfigured girl or the other one? Are you saying this was a true story? There is nothing in your description that would suggest a true story. Was there a murder? Most movies based on facts about regular people are murder cases.

Could it be this? No sister, but there might have been some confusion because of the weird story and the way it is told. She is disfigured, a detective falls in love with her, and the title is a girl's name. I'll try to find out if the actress is blonde.

It is five years later than 2000.

The disfigured girl is staying with the detective and his wife and his wife doesn't want her there, so there might have been confusion about the two women being sisters.

Don't know if it helps, but these 2 old Italian slasher movies feature rival sisters (one of who is disfigured).
