You get only ONE chance

Sorry if I'm rude but I'm right
You get only ONE chance to recommend ONE film to everybody reading this thread.

Rules:
  • You MUST include the title of the movie in your post.
  • You MUST include ONLY ONE screenshot from the movie in your post.
  • It's OK to comment on other people's choices.

If this gets traction, I'll think about allowing people to post another movie after some time.

Nice pick. Love the dog and ending. My favorite De Sica, but Bicycle Thieves and Two Women are must-sees, too.

I really need to see Two Women. It's one of a number of films I have on my watchlist with the word 'women' in the title':

Two Women (1960)
Three Women (1977)
Certain Women (2015)

Wild Strawberries (1957)

I don't know if the picture will post properly (I generally don't use this site via mobile phone), but I'll hope for the best.

This list totally lacks the legendary pinku All Women Are Whores (1980).

Wild Strawberries (1957)
Not my favorite Bergman (that would be Fanny & Alexander or Persona) but one of his absolute masterpieces, no doubt.

Since it's only the folks on this thread who would hypothetically watch this, I should probably avoid the more widely known movies I love...

Série noire (1979)

You're supposed to post screenshots from the movie, not posters.

Well OK then: Too many foreign films, not enoughAmerican films.
Be the change you want to see, i.e. post an American movie.

Look, if you had one shot or one opportunity to seize everything you ever wanted in one moment Would you capture it or just let it slip? Yo. Let's go to Eight Mile. His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy There's vomit on his sweater already, mom's spaghetti.

I picked two because these two movies among others were my nearly constant companions in my thirties. sometimes I would watch without the sound and sometimes just listen to the soundtrack even though I do not speak Swedish or French.

INSOMNIA (1997)

Starring Alexander Skarsgard

Une Liaison Pornographique (1999)

The subtitled English language version is called An Affair of Love, which is the clunkiest title.

Stars Nathalie Baye and Sergi Lopez.
