The Force Awakens or The Last Jedi?

Please, not another SW thread. Waits for the annoying 'Anti-Last Jedi' fanboys*

This might just do nobody any good.

Door’s got a trigger!

Nice Southland Tales quote as your tag.

And, to answer the original poster, there is no good Star Wars movie after Return of the Jedi. There were only three good Star Wars movies and they all happened in the 1970's and 1980's.

The Force Awakens in a landslide
Rogue One I really liked but it is pretty flawed in my book
The Last Jedi I haven't seen yet, but the conversations about it were way more interesting than watching TFA. So, perhaps it wins in this listing by proxy?

The only one I've seen of these is "The Force Awakens." I must say, it gave me this incredible sense of déjà-vu, in the sense that I'd seen this, before. I want to like the STAR WARS franchise, especially considering how beloved they're supposed to be and everything. But for the most part, they don't do it for me.

Welcome to the human race...
I was going to link to this thread but this one predates it by eight whole months. Weird.

Anyway, I guess if we're extended it to "new" Star Wars, my ranking of the last few would go:

1. Last Jedi
2. Force Awakens
3. Rogue One
4. Solo
