"Red Morning Light" - Kings of Leon
"New Rose" - The Damned
"Three Girl Rhumba" - Wire

That second song explains all by itself why swagger is so important in punk.

You ready? You look ready.
System of a Down and Bad Religion. Now, I'm listening to Russian language CDs.

What a great band The Damned were eh?

Always a bit more clued up than most of their contemporaries, always reaching for that little bit more than punk promised. I don't remember them from their heyday but bought Eloise, Lord it must be 20 years ago now, when they'd mutated into some sort of Goth/New Romantic hybrid.

Cracking song too, and any band that had Captain Sensible and Rat Scabies in their line-up negates all of Vanian's 'I'm a vampire' posturing.

He slept in a coffin, you know.....probably just the once.
