Greatest Ever Movie Villains

Nice avatar, Kinosis, that thing should be in it's own list. I watched the movie when I was younger and it was really disturbing watching that thing move.
Thanks! lol, yeah, he really is creepy, though he is barely in the movie.

I like this video and mostly agree with it.It just lacks "Leon" villain (Gary Oldman) and some non human villains - Drath Vader and Hal especially.

yep,it's well made. The music fits perfectly and the creator cut the best facial expressions of the villains most of the times.

Alex in A Clockwork Orange... both villain and hero= perfection

Speaking of Scarecrow, Jackson played by Cillian Murphy in Scarecrow

You haven't watched Star Wars?? Get to it brother. I'm not a massive fan of the whole saga but The Empire Strikes Back is one of the greatest movies ever!

I am the Watcher in the Night
Who knows man, who knows. I know that these old school villains helped shape today's villains.
That they did. Also, someone on this thread mentioned Kaizer Soze...if that's how it's spelt and I have to say, I thought long and hard about adding him to my top 10, Spacey was magnetic but I think I had no choice but to settle with him just outside my top 10 simply because Judge Doom so freaked me out as a kid.

I am the Watcher in the Night
I don't think Voldemort is the greatest, honestly. It's hard to imagine he made it to anyone's top ten. I think Joker and Scarecrow are my two favorite Batman villains.
Same here, Voldemort in the books is far more menacing than anything I saw on camera.

In no particular order
Darth Vader (Star Wars)
Ming the Merciless (Max Von Sydow Flash Gordon)
Angel eyes (Lee Van Cleef Good the Bad and the Ugly)
Harry Powell (Robert Mitchum Night of the hunter)
Lizzy Quinn (Eileen Dromey Waking Ned)
The Queen (Lucille La Verne Snow White)
The Child Catcher (Chitty Bang Bang)
Crassus (Laurence Olivier Spartacus)
Death (Bengt Ekerot The Seventh Seal)

And although this is tv, my favourite villain

1) Norman Bates - Psycho
2) Frank Booth - Blue Velvet
3) Dr. Hannibal Lecter - The Silence of the Lambs
4) Emperor Palpatine - Return of the Jedi
5) Jack Torrance - The Shining
6) Bishop Edvard Vergerus - Fanny and Alexander
7) HAL 9000 - 2001: A Space Odyssey
8) Lady Kaede - Ran
9) The Joker - The Dark Knight
10) Harry Lime - The Third Man

Edmund Blackadder's a villain?

Hmm. Can't say I've ever thought of him that way.
Depends on what qualifies a villain. He's definitely not a good guy. Maybe an antihero?

Antihero seems more appropriate. He's not a good guy, no, but he doesn't have that menacing quality that I attribute to villains either.
