Thanks for taking the time to reply to my thread guys, here's another I (understandably) forgot:

Bad Boys (1995) F
The Rock (1996) D-
Armageddon (1998) F
Pearl Harbor (2001) D-

This guy sucks, not only for the reason that he just isn't that technically innovative, but because he doesn't know how to choose a good script.

His average shouldn't be an A with Eyes Wide Shut only rating a C-.

Great List Slay im havent see all the films but i got a new list of rentals now. Thanks

My Mom wouldnt let me see Eyes Wide Shut. Shes a bitch about everything. whats so bad about it?

So many good movies, so little time.
I think you have great taste in movies LordSlayton. Out of some many movies there are only a few that I disagree with you about.

I think you missed :

Hitchcock's 'Rebecca' A+
Woody Allen's 'Broadway Danny Rose' A
Howard Hawk's 'Red River' A+

Movies I disagreed with your scoring on :

An Officer and a Gentleman A+ (C+) (my score)
The Verdict B- (A)
Hook C- (B+)
A Few Good Men B (A-)
Analyze This C+ (B+)
The Last of the Mohicans B (A)
LadyHawke C+ (B+)
Stripes C (B+)
True Romance B+ (A+)
Finding Forrester C (A-)
Gladiator B (A-)
Wuthering Heights B- (A)
Emerald Forest C (A-)

The only one I feel really strongly about is 'True Romance'. I love that movie.

Once again it was a great list you posted.

Thank you for the compliment. The 3 movies that I 'missed' are actually movies I have yet to see. I picked up a copy of Rebecca awhile ago, but have yet to find the time to watch it. The other two are on my list as well. As far as the ones you disagree with, I'm sure you'll come around someday.

Well, this is the MPAA rating reasons: "Strong sexual content, nudity, language and some drug-related material." I thought the movie was a masterpiece. I love Kubrick, and this is his third best film.

All good people are asleep and dreaming.
I think this thread is misleading.

The more movies you direct, the better chance of lowering your average, that is if your a good director.

Charles Laughton directed only one movie, The Night of the Hunter, A +

So Charles Laughton is the greatest director of all time.

Also what's with adding all the plus signs after an A +?

I give Ishtar an F ----------------------------------------------.

Yeah, Slayton I was just wingin' it trying to figure out what the averages were. What should it be because I haven't got a clue. It doesn't seem like it should be that hard, but oh well, I might as well try to eat my own ear, hehe. Don't get it? neither do I.

And on regards to Eyes Wide Shut being a masterpiece, I couldn't disagree more. What was the point? [POSSIBLE SPOILER] All it was, was Tom Cruise visiting prostitutes with AIDS and going to frickin' messed up cults. (which really gave me the creeps by the way). I didn't get the actual plot in the least bit.
