I'm jk, my boyfriend is perfect as can be for me but still, Cage is deff on my top 10 list of actors. It doesn't matter the role, I always enjoy his charaters.

Only one mention of Jeff Bridges? The man would easily be my choice for greatest Hollywood actor of the past 40 years.

He's good but is he better than Nicnolson, Hoffman, Pacino, De Niro, Hackman, et.al?

He certainly has more range than Nicholson, De Niro or Hackman, all of whom are actors famous for just being themselves in their movies and not really getting into the role, De Niro especially. I do love Al Pacino and Dustin Hoffman, but even they can't dive into a performance the way Bridges can. Fearless, The Big Lebowski, Starman, Tucker: The Man and His Dream, even the recent Crazy Heart are all instances of Bridges giving an above-and-beyond performance.

Fearless in particular is a film where he shows subtle brilliance as an actor, a film that with any other star just wouldn't have worked. It's not just his greatest performance, it's the best lead performance of the 1990's.
