Buster Keaton's The Passionate Plumber. Need help again =)

Well, hello everybody! Was anyone missing me?))
So I returned with another Keaton-MGM movie – The Passionate Plumber.
Hope you’ll help me again. Just as in my previous thread, I’m gonna upload some clips from that movie to YouTube and ask some (in fact, a great deal of =) ) questions about the scenes where I can’t fully recognize the dialogues.
Well I express the great gratitude to christine for helping me that time. Maybe she’ll lend me her hand again.
I was very upset hearing phrases in French, Spanish and even Italian (as far as I could get it) in this movie. Fortunately, there aren’t much of them. I hope someone will help me with these, too. Will be glad to have any assistance in my translation.
So I start.
Part 1:

Questions:
1) 0:05 – 0:08. Julius’ (it’s the name of Durante’s character here, while Keaton remained Elmer) conversation with the driver, full in French.
2) 0:21 – 0:36. The conversation with a Frenchman. It’s all in French too, of course.
3) 1:36 – 1:43. Two identical phrases in French.
4) 1:44 – 1:46. The phrase in Italian I think.
5) 1:53. After Elmer’s “No”. Is it “then who do I look like?”?
6) 2:15. Where’s Elmer from?
7) 2:26. Does Julius say “Argonne”?
8) 2:29. After Elmer’s “I’ve got an invention”. What does he say? Something like “It’s more than invention, see. It’s a shot spot pistol. You squeeze the handle and …… so you can see where you shoot at night”.
9) 2:49. Since Einstein discovered what?
10) 3:01. Does he say “is that good or is that good?”? If it’s so I’m not quite sure of the meaning. What is it?
11) 3:19 Everything from “always bathrooms”.

I cant hear what the driver says it's too fast

2) Julius says Bonjour Monsieur several times but the Monsieur is terribly mispronounced!
the owner says : Bonjour monsieur
Julius: Ma baignoire fuit - my bathtub leaks!
owner: I think he says Le vieux est dedans . Not sure about the le vieux bit but its sometimes used as a familiar name like old man. Anyway 'dedans' is inside, so there's some repetition of that.
owner: for the third time I told you inside!

3) can you repair ? I don't know what word he's using

4) sounds like Italian to me too!

5) then what do I look like can you tell me that?

6) Yonkers

7) sounds like it yes

8) it's a spot shot pistol. You squeeze the handle and it throws a spot out so you can see where you're shootin' at night

9) it'll be the greatest invention since Einstein discovered them relatives!

10) is that good ? or is that good? its not really a question it's like he's tickled with his own joke

11) always bathrooms. I see the darn things in my sleep.If I ever get a chance to...

1) 0:16. After the maid’s (Albine) words “Mister Tony? Here in Paris?” What does Patricia say? And then “He followed me ……”
2) 0:24. Patricia: “Don’t talk like a silly ……”
3) 0:34. Patricia: “follow me? …… run away when I love him!”
4) 1:33. Julius: “What a mama! And …… for me!”
5) 1:36. Him again: “Likes me? How …… like that?”
6) 3:00. Albine: “It’s this shower up here. ……” (up to the moment Elmer empties his case)
7) 3:09. Albine: “Now, the …… I never used it myself.”
8) 3:48. From “When could you’ve gone?” up to the end.

1&2) he saw me in Claridges ( a posh hotel in Paris) . HE followed me out and I jumped into a cab. Oh but I know he'll follow me here.
Albine: you put that man out of your mind, you'd be better off
Patricia: Don't talk like a silly goose. If I could forget Tony I'd have done it long ago.
Albine: I suppose there's only one thing to do start packing up and running away again!

3) Well he'd follow me! Besides why should I run away when I love him?

4) and does she palpitate for me?

5) Likes me? Her and I are like that! (crossed fingers)

6) It's been a nuisance ever since we'd had...(noise of tools covers rest)

7) now the thing , I've never used it myself

8) Albine: Where will I tell him you've gone?
Pat: ohhh Barcelona. anywhere, tell him but hurry up!

Part three, rather simple.

2) 0:39. Albine: “I wouldn’t ……”
3) 1:42. Patricia: “You couldn’t …… Tony”

1) Mr Tony you shouldn't act that way. Why don't you ask me where she is? I'd tell you where she is . Why don;t you ask me where she is? Now listen to me she isn't here. She isn't here Mr Tony I'm telling you she isn't here.

2) Oh I wouldn't fib to ya, I wouldn't...oh

So, part 4. Perhaps, the hardest here. Sure it’ll take some time, so I’ll wait as much time as necessary.

1)0:47. Julius: “You can’t leave now. They …… us”.
2)2:26. Help me recognize at least some two-three French words out of this mess (starting from “That’s impossible” and finishing at Julius’ “I can’t sell them the idea!”
3)2:42. The same, starting from Elmer’s “Go back” finishing at Julius’ “OK! Have it your way!”
4)3:20. All the same, starting from Tony’s “Gaston, mon dieu!” up to Julius’ “so far so good”
5)Starting from the end of the previous part – Julius’ words up to “nice work”
6)After that and up to Frenchman’s “Please, gentlemen. Let’s proceed with the duel.”
7)4:01. Julius: “Square”. Frenchman: “Proceed!”. What does Julius say to Elmer as they were going?
8)4:09. Julius: “Don’t worry about nothing. …… All that happened on my day-off). …… wanna break.”

1) I just can't get this one - really annoying!

4) there's nothing recognisable in those milliseconds I swear!

5) Julius: so far so good I'm in a frenzy! Nice work boy, nice work.

6) now gentlemen if you take off your things we will proceed with the duel

7) 4.01 Julius says: Scram and the Frenchman: Proceed!
Julius to Elmer: Now I tell you what I want you to do, you see now you got 'em ravelled?, you got 'em goin'

8) Just think all this happens on my day off. What a break, what a break

9) J: go ahead pal be hostile with 'em.
Frenchman - loosely translated : well then, you understand, let's go

I can't get any of the hooha but afterwards the tall French guy with the hat says: monsieur on this side then, listen my friends, back to back (and tells Julius en arriere which means get behind) keep your distance. Understand?

10) I can make out: Elmer : don't push me
Hat man: it's not like that its done.
Julius ...? Just keep your attitude, just keep your attitude.
Hat man: Monsieur I beg of you. Down there - understand?

11) you thought you had lost me and you grieved for me

12) oh you murderer!

sorry I can't get more of the French in the rabble but I'm not sure you;re even supposed to hear anything distinctive!

Well, now it’s part 5:

This part contains phrases in Spanish.

1) 0:18 – 0:28. Does she speak only in Spanish? And what’s his short phrase here?
2) 0:31. Nina: “…… wait for you?”
3) 0:48 – 0:56. Is that Spanish alone again?
4) 1:17. Tony: “it’s alright ……” Nina: “When we…… And …… in love with each other.”
5) 1:35. Nina: “Oh, you ……” up to “I know, you’ve been with her!” (1:48)
6) 1:48 – 1:55. Is that only Spanish again?
7) From 1:55 to Tony’s “Nina, this is quite enough”.
8) 2:16. Before she throws a knife at him does she cry something like “No, Tony, wait!” or is that Spanish again?

1) He says : darling...Nina
she says darling my darling..then goes into Spanish
he says something with darling in it

2) When she sist on the bed she says: at last you have come, You know for two days I have wait for you?

3) she: if I do not believe this I will kill her kill you!...then all spanish

Well, part six, a bit long perhaps.

2) 0:35. Him again: “Well, sell the old spot-shot …… to general Bouche and we’re in the money”.
3) 0:48. Julius: “That guy ……” and up to the end of the scene.
4) 1:03. How this “bon soirée” or what it is is translated? I don’t know the spelling thus can’t use the dictionary((
5) 1:13. Elmer rushes towards the general: “General! …….” Up to “Would you be interested in an invention?” and then up to “I invented it myself”
6) 1:36. Elmer: “I’ll show it to you”. This scene in French up to the moment we see Elmer and Julius near the bushes.
7) 1:49. Julius: “Listen. …… never pull a gun around here”.
8) 1:55. Julius: “You are …… …… like a guy with a gun”.
9) 2:02. Does Julius say “goes broke gambling”?
10) 2:07. Julius: “Then goes out to the garden and commits suicide. That …… business ……” Elmer: “To bury’em?” Julius: “No! The first thing …… in his pocket”. Elmer: “Oh, to clear they’re conscious?” (did I get it right?). Julius: “No! They want people to think …… do you get it?”

15) 3:48. Julius: “There you are. Class distinction.” (another malapropism???) “…… a couple of French pheasants …..” up to Elmer’s question about the cost of the full-dress suit.
16) 4:17. After Elmer shot in the air. It’s too noisy. Hope something is still recognizable. Up to man’s “Place this in his pocket, will you?”
17) 4:52. Julius: “You’re a genius! …… for it!”
18) 5:01. Some greetings in French.
19) 5:29. Nina: “is that …… right here?” (does she use some Spanish word?)
20) 5:43. Nina: “…… after you” (something in Spanish again?)
21) 6:14. Nina: “I see it in your eyes! ……” Is all the rest in Spanish? Except Tony’s “Now listen” and the waiter’s “wait a minute…” (is that possible to hear what the waiter says next?
22) 6:56. Tony: “There never could be anyone but you in my heart”. Patricia: “Oh … heart. I’m dancing no longer”
23) 7:13. Patricia: “Tony, I … Please leave me.” Tony: “Oh, Patricia! You forever … and cold”.
24) 7:33. Tony: “You? Another man?” Patricia: “Did you ……?”

1) the ... is full of guys she merely smiled at

2) patent

3) J: that guy has done more chisellin' than Rodin
E: who's Rodin?
J: the chiseller

4) bonsoir (good evening)

5) E: General!
G: says je vous en prie to his companions - could be translated as it's ok or please, meaning for them no need to intervene
G; Now sir what is it? (voila monsieur Qu'est-ce qu'il y a? )
E : would you be interested in an invention.
G: (to his men) what did he say? ..don't know, don't understand
E: Its a gun
G: I don't understand you
E: I invented it myself

6) this is just a whole load of shouting

7) if you live to be a thousand years old never pull a gun around here.

8) you were beggin' for The Bastille! nothing gets on the nerves of the Casino cops like a guy with a gun!

9&10) J:every now and then some guy goes broke gambling then goes out in the garden and commits suicide. That hurts business and costs the Casino a lot of dough
E: to bury him?
J: no! the first thing the Casino cops do when they find a guy that's bumped himself off is to shove a bankroll in his pocket.
E: of to clear their conscience?
J: no! they want people to think that the guy didn't kill himself because he went broke gambling. Do you get it?
E oh that's why those guards ran up
J: yeah yeah

11) E: do you think they've gone back?

12) waiter: what do you want ? you're not dressed for here!
other waiter: well. Excuse me
E: I'm calling on General Crochet (or whatever his name is!)
waiter: oh monsieur cannot enter he has not a business suit

W: do you want to cant hear the rest
then just some argeybargy noises till the waiter says 'allez-y' which is 'go on' or 'get off'

14) E; merci
doorman: it's nothing, it's nothing
the rest is just those stock French noises

15) class distinction ( I wouldn't say that was a malapropism - I don't think they'd say anything like class discrimination) . Why you'd think we were a couple of French peasants tilling the soil. Don't I always stand to attention when they play the Mayonnaise (Marseillaise - now that's a malapropism for teh French national anthem!)

16) loads of noise! I can hear 'gendarmes' (police) in there . and 'come on' 'let's go'

17) J: a mastermind! a mastermind! you're a genius there ain't no other word for it!

18) all that's too quiet!

19) Nina at 5.29: is there someone else around here?

20) 5.43: she does say one spanish word, but I'd just guess it's something endearment like 'darling'. I want to talk to you , let's go into the lounge.

24) I just can't catch that. I'd like to say it's something about his virility but I don't think they'd say that in that sort of film - maybe? what do you think?

24) It sounds like she said "Does that catch you a peculiarity?" The last word is definitely peculiarity. Even though it isn't word for word what she says, I'd translate it to does that sound like a peculiarity, so it gramatically makes sesnse.
