Also wouldn't mind knowing if anyone else voted for The Man Who Planted Trees.

Like the fella says, in Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder, and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. Master of My Domain
A movie with a crazy old man trying to defy the basic laws of physics at number 1? Pooh, but it isn't a bad film at all.

Good job with the thread MV. Too bad it finished before I got back.

Chappie doesn't like the real world
Wow, the top films were so close!

Well done and thank you to Miss Vicky for running this countdown

My list:

1. Spirited Away
2. Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem
3. The Nightmare Before Christmas
4. The Wrong Trousers
5. Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children
6. Beauty and the Beast (1991)
7. Frozen
8. Toy Story 2
9. Wreck-It Ralph
10. Despicable Me
11. South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut
12. The Snowman (1982)
13. When the Wind Blows
14. The Lego Movie
15. Only Yesterday
16. Grave of the Fireflies
17. Mary and Max
18. Harvie Krumpet
19. Aladdin
20. Paperman
21. 5 Centimeters Per Second
22. Monsters Inc
23. Millennium Actress
24. My Neighbour Totoro
25. Shrek

I didn't hold out any hope for Paperman or Advent Children, but I'm a bit disappointed Harvie Krumpet and Only Yesterday didn't make the top 100. I don't think Only Yesterday was even a near miss. It's a shame nobody else seems to appreciate the awesomeness of Interstella 5555, but not really a surprise.
Yeah, I'm obviously disappointed about Harvie. It was number one on my list. I tried.

1. Harvey Krumpet (2003)
2. Charlotte's Web (1973)
3 James & the Giant Peach (1996)
4. The Little Mermaid (1989)
5. Mary & Max (2009)
6. Dumbo (1941)
7. Blood: The Last Vampire (2000)
8. Corpse Bride (2005)
9. Tekkonkinkreet (2006)
10. The Fantastic Mr. Fox (2009)
11.Frankenweenie (2012)
12. Chicken Run (2000)
13. Surf's Up (2007)
14.How to Train Your Dragon ( 2010)
15. Lilo & Stitch (2002)
16. Rango (2011)
17. The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
18. Cowboy Bebop: The Movie
(2001)
19. Persepolis (2007)
20. Waltz with Bashir (2008)
21. Monsters Inc. (2001)
22. Vampire Hunter D (1985)
23. Perfect Blue (1997)
24. Up (2009)
25. Beauty and the Beast ( 1991)

The only reason Up was so low on my list is that I didn't feel it needed much of my help. It's hard for me to understand people not thinking it's a beautiful movie.

I think a lot of the shorts got hurt by being in this countdown. Shorts should have been a separate list.

How would each of those shorts have done if their votes were combined with the Looney Tunes movie that they were in?

Why would the totals be combined?

Duck Amuck was part of The Bugs Bunny/Road-Runner Movie and it not only made it onto the countdown, but placed higher than the feature.

I'm just curious where it might have ended up in theory if the people who voted for it in the movie had voted for it as a separate short instead.

By allowing shorts, it split the vote. If there were a separate list for shorts, Duck Amuck might have had more votes on a shorts list. Plus the shorts that didn't make the list might have made it onto a shorts only list.
