Well... apart from my 'private collection', let's see...
David....you realize I can't pass this up...my prying cap is going on.

Soooo.....does this mean you sometimes have a hottie waiting for you? Blonde? Brunette? Redhead? Short or tall? Slender or curvy?

Hmmmm...and about your 'private collection'...of hotties or hot movies or both? Either way...I'm sure they do make you happy.

Movies that make me happy....

All of the old black and white screwball comedies like....
Bringing Up Baby, Holiday, His Girl Friday, The Awful Truth, Bachelor Mother...etc...

Most Marx brothers movies, especially....
A Day at the Races and A Night at the Opera.

All the old Fred and Ginger movies, especially....
Top Hat and Swing Time.

Lighthearted musicals like...
Singing in the Rain, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Take Me Out to the Ballgame, The Harvey Girls...etc...

Comedies and Romantic Comedies in general...too many to name...

Family movies...
The Princess Bride, Mrs. Doubtfire, The Muppet Movie, A Muppet Christmas Carol, What About Bob?, The Parent Trap, George of the Jungle...etc...

Oh, I forgot one if my all time favorites:

Heathers - Yes, it's unrelentingly dark, and in extremely poor taste, but it makes me laugh so very hard every time I watch it, I can't help but be cheered up.

I was just trying to clarify the question... I might PM you the answers you seek!

I forgot all about Back To The Future. I used to watch that just for fun. I have to get Oh Brother Where Art Thou. That's definitely one that should be on my list.
Shawshank? Not sure if I would consider that a movie that makes me 'happy'. More contemplation than anything, but each to their own.

Definetly The Castle. That's the funniest movie ever.
Also Galaxy Quest and Young Frankenstein

"Jackass: The Movie" - w/ Johnny Knoxville
"Grosse Pointe Blanke" w/ John Cusack
"PCU" - w/ Jeremy Piven
"Better off Dead" - w/ John Cusack
"Sixteen Candles" - w/ MollyRingwald and Anthony Michael Hall

Yadda, yadda, yadda, I could go on all night with a list like this. Hell, I could include "Friday the 13th" parts 3-7, but I guess I'll save that for another list, like "Best Valentine's Day Movies".
